My day started with an extra large cup of coffee, I turned my music up loud as I made my way to Fort Saskatchewan. I was nervous, but excited at the same time, that's how I always feel the morning of a wedding...I am so excited to see how the bride decided to do her hair, I finally get to see her dress and best of all I get to witness the most important day for two amazing people in love. And this day was all about Darilynn and Joel.
Darilynn greeted me on her driveway, and for a split second she took my breath away: 1) with her sheer beauty and 2) with her huge bear hug LOL!
The day started out with a few detailed pictures of Darilynn's dress and fine details. And a shout out to Hair by James for doing an amazing job with Darilynn's hair. The girls were laughing and dancing to the music pumping through the house...you could feel the excitement in the air!
Friends and family gathered for the ceremony and after a few finishing touches in the back room the time had come for Darilynn's father to walk her down the aisle to meet her groom, Joel.
Immediately after the ceremony we made our way in to Edmonton for pictures. It was so great hanging out with Darilynn and Joel and their awesome wedding party; Adrienne and Murray. There was lots of laughing, dancing and Darilynn and Adrienne even brought out their 80's legwarmers for a few silly pictures.
The weather was perfect and the fun continued as we travelled to a few locations throughout downtown Edmonton. We even managed to borrow someone's bike for a prop.
After dinner and speeches I snuck outside with Darilynn and Joel for a few more photos...the light was gorgeous and the streets were empty...these are some of my favorite photos. Enjoy!!
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an honour...
